You will also find up-to-date information about public events/conferences related to NOMAD activities as well as a page with a list of scheduled project events (public workshops) or project's internal meetings is also available. 2004-10-15 NOMAD successfully finished The NOMAD project has been successfully evaluated during the final review on September 28, 2004 and has now been formally finished. 2004-08-20 NOMAD Final Review scheduled for September 28 The NOMAD Final Review will be held on September 28 in Bremen, at BIBA's premises. 2004-06-30 NOMAD got a new domain The NOMAD website has changed domains due to technical reasons. The old domain http://www.ist-nomad.org/ does no longer work. The new official NOMAD domain is now http://www.ist-nomad.net/. Please update your bookmarks and links accordingly. 2004-06-04 NOMAD Newsletter No. 4 The 4th NOMAD Newsletter is available. It covers the following topics:
2004-06-02 Information on NOMAD Client Software available We have recently added a section on the NOMAD Client Software for PDAs and J2ME enabled mobile phones to the website. The software is described by means of screenshots. 2004-05-03 servicediscovery.net goes live! Today, the NOMAD consortium launched a new website related to service engineering: servicediscovery.net. On servicediscovery.net you can find downloads related to the service engineering technologies developed within NOMAD! 2004-05-03 NOMAD extension to OpenSLP available The first release of the NOMAD patches to enable interconnectivity between OpenSLP and LDAP is now available for download from servicediscovery.net. The patch is done against the OpenSLP 1.1.5 source tree, which has been taken from the OpenSLP project CVS repository available at sourceforge.net. See the file "README.NOMAD" in the archive for additional build instructions. 2004-03-26 Major Update of the NOMAD website This week, the NOMAD website experienced a major update. We polished the whole site and updated various information, e.g. status information on the documents recently delivered to the commission or the consortium descriptions. We also introduced this news system to be more flexible and up-to-date in the future. 2004-03-23 UoB-JAdhoc New Release - Version 0.2 This is the latest version of the UoB JAdhoc, version 0.2. It has been adapted to run to the Personal Java specification which makes it run on most JVMs avalable in Linux, Windows and PDAs. We have tested JAdhoc for the following environments:
2004-02-03 UoB NOMAD for Sharp Zaurus PDA In an effort to bring NOMAD closer to small mobile devices, a port of UoB NOMAD is released for the Sharp Zaurus PDA. The installation of this package depends on the existence of IPRoute 2 which is also released for the original Sharp Linux (not OpenZaurus). Both packages can be found in on the Mobile IP website. 2004-01-13 UoB-JAdhoc-0.11 public release This is the latest version of the UoB JAdhoc, version 0.11. What is new in this version ?
2003-11-19 UoB-NOMAD-GUI 0.1 public release UoB-NOMAD-GUI 0.1 is a graphical user interface, which provides status information of currently active instances of UoB-NOMAD-0.11. This is released under GPL. This GUI consists of 2 components, one that shows status information of an agent and the other showing client status information. Download UoB-NOMAD-GUI 0.1 Software Release 2003-11-08 NOMAD at the 58th IETF Meeting The draft for NOMAD Mobile-IP filters has been presented at the mip4 BOF, 58th IETF meeting in Minneapolis, MN, USA. Download zipped Presentation 2003-10-30 NOMAD 2nd Technical Review During the 2nd Technical Review in Bremen/Germany, the NOMAD consortium demonstrated live on the 29.10.2003 the first prototype of the Integrated Network Platform together with the Service Location middleware and the high-accuracy Positioning Information module. 2003-10-01 New sites relating to Internet standardization Two new sites relating to standardization in the area of Internet Mobility support and Mobile Ad-Hoc networking were launched in October 2003 by University of Bremen. These sites are dedicated to the discussion and publication of open source S/W, papers, proposed standards, etc. 2003-07-10 UoB-JAdhoc-0.1 public release UoB-JAdhoc-0.1 has been release to the public under the GPL. UoB-JAdhoc is a Java implementation of the AODV protocol compliant to RFC3561 with support for both IPv4 and IPv6. 2003-05-24 UoB-NOMAD-0.10 public release Official public release under the Sun Public Licence (SPL) of the UoB-NOMAD-0.10; an implementation
of the NOMAD protocol based on the Sun Labs MobileIP compliant to draft-nomad-mobileip-filters-05.txt.
