This deliverable is the intermediate progress report for all tasks defined in WP3.
Abstract
This report is the first report of the NOMAD set of
deliverables produced by WP3 (Prototype System Development).
The goal of the WP3 is to implement a prototype to demonstrate
the overall software system. All modules and network platforms
defined in WP 2 will be implemented independently and tested.
WP3 is mainly divided into three tasks. i.e. Development of
the integrated network middleware, development of the service
discovery middleware and development of the demonstration
client. This deliverable is the intermediate progress report
for all tasks defined in WP3.

This deliverable describes the implementation of the NOMAD
demonstration clients, for the Java enabled mobile phones,
PDAs and laptops, as they resulted from the development
activities under WP3.

be implemented independently and tested. WP3 is mainly divided
into three tasks. i.e. Development of the integrated network
middleware, development of the service discovery middleware
and development of the demonstration client. The goal of this
deliverable (D3.4) is to explain all development activities
related to NOMAD network middleware that is completed during
the WP3. All development in the integrated network middleware
is based on the network layer protocols of Mobile IP and AODV,
as identified in the WP2 (System Specification) as the basis
for NOMAD platform.
This deliverable documents the Service Discovery Middleware
developed during the course of WP3.

Abstract
The purpose of Task 3.5 was to integrate the individual
components that where developed during previous tasks of the
work package 3. The task resulted in a fully functional
prototype that can support and demonstrate the NOMAD services.
